What Is Therapeutic Phlebotomy?
Therapeutic phlebotomy is a medical procedure that removes a prescribed volume of blood to help manage conditions involving excess iron or elevated red blood cell counts. It looks similar to a blood donation, but it's performed under a healthcare provider's written treatment order — with the volume, frequency, and any special handling set by your physician, not by us.

Your In-Home Visit, Step by Step
Your provider sends the order
It must specify the volume to remove, treatment frequency, relevant lab thresholds, and any special instructions.
You schedule your visit
Book online or call/text us directly. Same-day appointments may be available depending on location and phlebotomist availability.
We screen before we draw
Your phlebotomist checks vitals and history on arrival to confirm the procedure is appropriate to perform at home.
The procedure is performed
Blood is removed per your provider's order, with the phlebotomist monitoring you throughout.
Aftercare & documentation
You'll get post-procedure guidance, and documentation is sent back to your ordering provider.
A valid provider order is required and must specify the amount of blood to remove, treatment frequency, applicable lab thresholds, and any special instructions. Some patients may be better served in a hospital or monitored clinical setting — our phlebotomist will let you know if that's the case during screening.
Transparent, Order-Based Pricing
This flat fee covers the mobile visit and collection at your home. A valid provider's order is still required, and any related laboratory testing is billed separately.
